Effects of Bacteria Applications and Different Nitrogen Doses on Plant and Agronomic Characteristics of Some Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Varieties in Diyarbakır Conditions

Abstract

This study was carried out in Diyarbakır ecological conditions for two years in 2021 and 2022. The effects of Rhizobium japonicum bacteria (150 ml da-1) and different 5 kg da-1, 10 kg da-1, 15 kg da-1, 20 kg da-1 and 25 kg da-1 nitrogen doses on plant height (cm), number of fruits perplant, number of ginefor perplant, seed yield (g), oil (%) and protein content (%) in some Halisbey and Sultan peanut varieties werein vestigated. In the experiment, which was carried out with 3 replications according to the experimental design of divided parcels in random blocks, varieties constitute the main parcel and fertilizer applications constitute the sup-parcels. According to the results; Interms of plant fruit number, plant stem weight, plantseed weight, oiland protein ratio, year, fertilizer, year x fertilizer, variety, variety x fertilizer and year x variety x fertilizer interaction were significant. The highest number of fruit splant, plantstem weight (g), plantseed weight (g) and oil ratiovalues ​​were obtained from 5 kg da-1 nitrogen dose application. Protein ratio (%) was found to be higher than the control in bacteria application and all nitrogen doses. For plant seed weight, which is an important yield element, 5 kg da-1 (350.82 g) was determined as the best dose in fertilizer doses.
