Plants were grown as monocrop and legumes + cereals mixtures with six different seeding rates (100FP% + 10B%, 100FP% + 20B%, 100FP% + 30B%, 100FP% + 40B%, 100FP% + 50B%, and 100FP% + 60B%, respectively). The experiment was arranged in randomized blocks design with three replications. In the study, hay yield,  protein yield, acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), relative feed value (RFV), potassium (K), phosphorus (P), calcium (Ca) and magnesium             ( Mg) contents were determined. Besides, it was calculated that the land equivalent ratio (LER) and profitability analyzes of mixtures. The hay yield renged between 570.1-1114.4 kg/da.  The highest RFV was determined as sole forage pae (129.08) and mixtures of 100FP% + 30B% (118.60). The LER of mixtures was ranged between 1.05-1.56, and all mixtures were found to be advantageous (LER&gt;1.0) compared to sole forage pea and barley. The highest profitability on both hay yield and meat with bone was obtained from the mixture of 100FP%YB + 30B% (533.3 ve 2216.3 TL/da).  It was determined that adding barley to forage pea improves hay yield and quality. Accordingly, it is appropriate to intercropping by adding 30% barley to 100% forage pea in Yozgat ecological conditions.</p> ER -
