The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in research involving human participants and animals.
Human Subjects
Studies involving human participants must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki (2013 Fortaleza revision). In addition, clinical studies conducted in Türkiye must adhere to the Regulation on Good Clinical Practice (No. 28145).
Authors must declare the following:
-Informed consent must be obtained from all participants and properly documented.
-The study was approved by an appropriate institutional ethics committee.
-The name of the ethics committee, approval date, and approval number must be clearly stated.
-The processing and protection of personal data must be declared in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
A statement regarding ethical approval (including committee name and approval number) must be included in the manuscript.
Animal Experiments
Studies involving animals must adhere to internationally recognized guidelines, including:

Authors must ensure that:
-Animal welfare is prioritized and unnecessary suffering is avoided.
-Experiments are conducted under approved ethical protocols.
-For studies conducted in Türkiye, approval from HADMEK/HADYEK ethics committees is mandatory, and the committee name, approval date, and approval number must be clearly stated.
Field (On-site) Studies
For studies conducted on plants, animals, or natural resources, the following requirements must be fulfilled:
-Species listed under CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) must be checked.
-Official permits must be obtained from relevant authorities (e.g., Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry).
-Permit documents and approval numbers must be clearly stated in the manuscript.
Additional Ethical Approvals
Where applicable, additional approvals must be obtained from relevant authorities:
-Ministry of Health (for clinical and biomedical studies)
-Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (for agricultural and animal studies)
Compliance and Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their research complies with all applicable ethical regulations. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet these ethical requirements.
The journal reserves the right to take necessary actions in cases of suspected ethical misconduct in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
Studies Not Involving Human or Animal Subjects
For studies not involving human participants or animals, authors must include the following statement in their manuscripts: “This study does not involve human participants or animals.”
