Investigations on the Herbage and Some Other Charateristics of Common Vetch Cereal Mixtures of Different Harvest Dates

Abstract
This study has been conducted to determine the yields and other related characteristics of different harvest dates and mixtures of 2 different common vetch (Kubilay-82 ve Cumhuriyet), 1 Barley (Akhisar -98) and 1 Oat (Faikbey) cultivar in Bornova experimental fields of Ege University Faculty of Agriculture Department of Field Crops for 2 years between 2010-2012. According to the results obtained; it was determined that significant differences occured between in terms of the yields of herbage, hay and dry matter yield. At the rate of 50% + 50% Kubilay+Faikbey mixture was superior than the others in the second harvest date.
