Abstract

This research was carried out in order to determine the effects of humic acid, plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and chemical (N + P) fertilizer applications on yield and yield elements in some types of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum ssp. vulgare) in the winter growing season of 2016-17 2017-18 under Van ecological conditions. Altay-2000, Gelibolu, Saroz-95, Kırgız-95, Sultan-95, Karasu-90, Mızrak, Mufitbey and Yakar-99 cultivars were used in this experiment. The trial was performed in the research fields of Agricultural Faculty of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University according to the split plot design with randomized blocks in three replicates. In the study, humic acid, PGPR and chemical fertilizer applications in wheat plants; The effects on the number of spikes per square meter, plant height (cm), grain number per spike, thousand grain weight (g), total yield (kg  ha-1) and grain yield (kg ha-1) were investigated. According to the data obtained at the end of the research; spike number per square meter is between 323-529, plant height 71.5-101.6 cm, grain number per spike 33.5-50.5, thousand grain weight 33.4-43.9 g, grain yield 1490-3830 kg ha-1 and total yield 4720-11370 kg ha-1 also varied between. While the highest grain yield was obtained from traditional fertilizer application with 4050 kg ha-1 in Kyrgyz-95 variety, the lowest value was obtained from control plots with 1490 kg ha-1 in Gelibolu variety.
