Determination of Quality and Characterization Properties of Some Advanced Soybean (Glycine max. L.) Lines and Varieties under Second Crop Conditions in Şanlıurfa

Abstract

This study was carry out to determine the quality and characterization of some advanced soybean lines and varieties under second crop conditions in Şanlıurfa. In the study, 11 advanced lines (KA08-03, KA08-06, KA08-07, KA08-08, KA08-09, 8-3-4, 11, 13, 17, 24, 27) and 3 standards developed by hybridization method. variety (Türksoy, Ataem-7, Bravo) was used as a material. The research was conducted at GAP Agricultural Research Institute Gündaş Research Station in 2015 and 2016 according to the randomized blocks trial pattern with four replications. In the research, besides the morphological characterization features such as the number of emergence days, number of flowering days, plant height, yield, harvest index, relative growth rate, quality characteristics such as crude protein and crude oil were also examined. According to the research results; The number of emergence days varied between 5.33-7.67 and flowering days between 31.75-38.17. Among the analyzed soybean genotypes, the grain yield varied between 36.41-41.71% and crude protein ratio between 36.71 and 40.07 in terms of harvest index of 226.69-370.51 kg da-1.
